Heart-Mind Consultancy (HMC) successfully organized a 9-hour Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training, complemented by three weeks of practical sessions. A total of 15 participants—including 13 female and 2 male psychologists and senior Psychosocial Counselors—completed the training. Participants came from various locations across Nepal, including Dang, Pokhara, Chitwan, Kathmandu, Surkhet, and other regions.
The training ran from July 3 to July 18, 2025 and was facilitated by Ms. Pujan Sharma, a psychologist at Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital. Ms. Sharma holds a one-year diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Pakistan Association of Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Participants expressed high satisfaction with the training and showed strong interest in enrolling in an advanced-level CBT course in the future. The second phase of CBT training is also going on.
